I have two graphics cards. When using display fusion anytime I open an application that will be fullscreen like a game my computer freezes. The only way I can fix it is by disabling all the monitors on my second graphics card. Surely there has to be a way for this not to happen with this program.

I've been dealing with this for about a year now and it seems to do it every time lately.

Here's what I'm packing on my monitor configuration. I'm on Windows 11 Home edition. Just did a fresh install and I'm still having the same issue

Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks for sending that over. Which graphics card's monitors need to be disabled?

The GTX 1080's, you can see in my second message which monitors that card has. The 3070 is my main card.

And the error should have been done at 8:18, forgot to put in my post.

We have some changes coming in our next beta that might help here, we'll let you know once it's released to test out.

Thanks!

We've released a new beta, can you try it out and let me know if the issue persists?

Thanks for sending that over, nothing too obvious stands out there. Just to confirm, if you exit DisplayFusion, the issue stops?
