As far as I can tell, there's nothing specific that triggers this action, it seems to be totally random. Sometimes my custom hotkeys will work correctly for a week, other times they'll revert to the default settings within a day.

I've tried:
a) disabling the hotkeys I don't need & customizing the few I want

b) disabling all hotkeys, then created 3 custom hotkeys for my needs

c) deleting the registry keys for hotkeys that I've disabled...this doesn't work either, the default hotkeys are re-created in the registry as soon as displayFusion is started again.

No matter how I set them up, they will all eventually revert back to the default settings & disable my custom settings. It's happening so frequently that I've resorted to creating a reg key on my desktop to reset my custom settings...it's easier than manually redoing all the hotkey settings by hand constantly.

SPECS: XP home SP2 fully patched
Intel Core2 CPU 6600 @2.40GHz
3.2GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3850 card

If it's of any use in diagnosing this problem, I've including the contents of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion below.

Any ideas Jon?...this is starting to get maddening.
Thanks

I noticed that my custom hotkeys had disappeared after I upgraded recently. Haven't had time to put them back so don't know if they'll keep disappearing like you're experiencing.

When you revert from Pro to the Free version it will remove all of your custom hotkey settings. When you re-enter your Pro license key you will have to setup your hotkeys again. However, upgrading from 1 version to another should not affect your hotkey settings. Have you removed or changed your license key recently? How many times have your hotkeys been reset?

Thanks,
Jon

Could it be that the file that DF uses to store the custom hotkeys is read-only? That would cause the issue, and the randomness provided by the rarity a user would restart DF.......

I've had this problem almost since day 1. I haven't upgraded to another version. I bought my pro key & installed v2.1.1 right when it was released, probably 3 weeks ago. Prior to that, I was using the free version.

The pro key hasn't been removed or changed since it's initial install. I'd estimate the hotkeys have reverted to default settings ± 1 dozen times.

John: Sorry for the late reply, but I was just wondering if you (or anyone else) is still having this issue? DisplayFusion v2.2 contains a number of bug fixes related to hotkey handling, I was just wondering if it would clear this up.
