Thanks for sending that over. If you exit Classic Shell, does the issue persist?

Seeing the same thing at home and at work. My home system is Windows 10 Pro with a Steam DisplayFusion license. My work machine is Windows 10 Enterprise with a standalone DisplayFusion license. Both are on 22H2 with work machine's Windows build number 10.0.19045.3448. I can't remember my home machine's build, but it's probably 3448 or very close to it. My work DF is at version 10.1.2. I don't recall the version I have at home, but it's probably whatever is current on Steam.
I believe the truncated date started with the last DisplayFusion update I installed. I'd occassionally get a weird date look on my work machines on older DF builds, but I could fix it by relaunching DF. I think it was related to display scaling or mismatched resolutions on my displays. This one doesn't seem to be scaling related; the font looks fine other than being truncated and relaunch doesn't fix it.
In the Windows Settings > Time & Language > Region, what is your "Regional Format" set to?

Ah yep, I was able to reproduce that here so I've added it to our list to look into.
Thanks!

Thanks for adding that! Since I have your attention, do you have any ideas how to get the 'highlight' behind icons on external monitors? Screenshots of what I'm talking about, hopefully they paint a better picture than words.

@KevinR58983 If you revert the "Disable Taskbar Rendering" advanced setting in DisplayFusion, does that fix it up?

I'm not sure what changed, but I noticed today that mine is working correctly on both my home machine with Steam license and work machine with standalone license. Maybe Microsoft fixed something.
current Windows version for home: 10.0.19045.3570 (Pro)
current Windows version for work: 10.0.19044.3448 (Enterprise)
I don't have access to my 19045 work machine today, so I don't yet know if that one's OK.

I access that work machine, the one that was working correctly a couple of days ago, via remote desktop. My other work machine is accessed directly with a console session. They both have standalone DF licenses. The host/console session machine is Win 10 19045.3570 Enterprise. I noticed today that its DF taskbars are still showing the truncated date. I opened an RDP connection to my other work machine, the one that was working fine a couple days ago, and it's showing a truncated date again. When it was working correctly a couple of days ago, I was RDP'd into it from home. This truncated date isn't a big deal for me, but I'm adding my info in case it's useful to someone for troubleshooting it.
Here's my setup; it's complicated. I'm betting the others folks having this truncated date issue have much simpler setups than me, so the setup probably isn't relelvant. I work in IT if that matters.
At home, I have a 'desktop' computer I built myself. It uses a DF Steam license. That machine has a 3070Ti that supports 4 displays (3x DP, 1x HDMI). I have 4 displays on my desk but also a TV in another room, so 5 displays total. Three of these are 1080p, the primary screen is 1440p. The TV is connected to the GPU with an optical HDMI cable and remains disconnected in Windows' display settings when I'm at my desk. If I want to game in the living room, I usually disconnect (in display settings) everything except the TV and my primary monitor at my desk. One of my monitors at my desk is connected with a DisplayLink dock (over USB) since my GPU only has 4 ports. That home computer had this same truncated date for a while, but it wasn't truncated when I used it a couple of days ago.
My RDP remote access work computer (a laptop) doesn't have any displays connected to it physically; it just has its built-in laptop display. I RDP into it from home and have the RDP settings configured to use all 4 displays on my desk at home. It also didn't have the truncated date a couple of days ago when accessing it over RDP from home.
My primary/console session laptop that I use at the office is connected to 4 external displays (2x 1080p, 2x 1440p). The laptop display is left disconnected in display settings. My 1440p displays are daisy-chained DP to a Thunderbolt dock. One of the 1080p displays is connected to the other DP port on the Thunderbolt dock. The fourth display (1080p) is connected to the laptop directly with a DP>USB-C cable because the dock only supports two connections. This computer is still showing a truncated date. If I RDP into my remote work laptop and have it set to use all displays with RDP, it shows a truncated date again.
The wierd part, for me, is the RDP laptop. When I RDP'd into it a couple days ago from home, the date wasn't truncated on it or the home desktop computer. I thought it was resolved. If I RDP into that same laptop from the office (from a host that also has the truncated date), the date is truncated again. Maybe that will help someone figure something out. I'll try to remember to RDP into it again when I get home to see if the date goes back to displaying correctly.
If this is too complicated, don't worry about it. It's not a big deal, and I'm sure it'll get sorted eventually.

Home machine is back to showing truncated date. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Idk why it was fine for one day.
Strange, we have a fix here for our next beta that's working on my end, so we'll let you know once it's released to try out.
Thanks!
