Hi DisplayFusion team! :)

I recently downloaded this and am using the trial of the pro version until I can buy it next month. It's heaps better than anything else I've used, but I've had a few issues so far and maybe you know the issue?

I am on Windows 8.1 64 bit using 2 monitors. The first monitor (left) is my primary. The primary focus for this program is that I have people who talk to me on Skype quite a bit, but I didn't favor having to alt tab or minimize a game to have to reply to friends, so the deactivation is very ideal for me. :)

So far I have everything on the default settings that came with the install.

The games I am having issues with are Maplestory, Skyrim, and Battlefield 4. I have lock mouse to monitor and window deactivation enabled for each.

MapleStory - Weird issue when in full screen. Half of the the second monitor is pushed over, so the start menu on monitor 2 is on the middle of the screen, as if the game is taking up 1.5 monitors. If I alt+tab or switch mouse cursor to other monitor and click, MapleStory minimizes to the tray and the second monitor looks normal again. Windows Deactivation does not work at all telling from this.

Skyrim - Can't switch mouse cursor to second monitor at all. If I alt+tab and go back to the game, either Skyrim doesn't come back up, or it does and I have two mouse cursors on the screen. (The windows cursor and the Skyrim cursor)

Battlefield 4 - Works great, however if I switch monitors using alt+tab (the mouse cursors, anyway), Battlefield 4 switches to Windowed Mode. The deactivation works, it's just weird how it goes to Windowed Mode. The hotkey I set for switching the mouse cursor between monitors doesn't work at all if I move the cursor after pressing said hotkey.

If anyone knows a solution, please let me know! Thank you. :)

Does MapleStory run at a different screen resolution than your desktop? That usually causes that type of issue. I'll test out MapleStory with the Prevent Window Deactivation function here as well, to see if there's anything we can do about it not working.

The Skyrim and Battlefield issues are known, but unfortunately not issues that we can fix. Some games don't like having the window activation messages hooked, and they do weird stuff. The double-cursor thing with Skyrim is a Skyrim bug that happens when alt+tabbing in and out of the game (even without DisplayFusion running) :(

Thanks for the quick support, Keith!

Yes it does, MapleStory only runs at an odd resolution, 1366 x 768 I believe. I'll test it out running my desktop at that resolution and see how it goes. :)

Ah, sorry to hear about that! I'll have to see how to fix the cursor issue with Skyrim, cause other than that it was working well for me. :)

I'll post back to tell you if changing the desktop resolution to match fixed that issue. Thanks again!

EDIT: Fixed the MapleStory issue. It's one of those games that don't like hotkeys, so I forced the "Prevent Windows Deactivation" rule to it in Window Location and it works perfectly now. :)

Yet again, thanks for the quick support. I can't believe I didn't think of doing this first, haha. I was originally looking in Compatibility for forcing the hotkey, whoops.

Will definitely be buying this next month when my trial runs out, this is by far the best multi-monitor program I've used so far. :) Thanks again!
