I have a single monitor with 3 splits defined
Since upgrading to Beta 5, whenever I click the desktop to give it focus, the whole desktop is refreshing causing a brief flash of any desktop icons, etc. that are on the desktop.
When DF is unloaded this does not occur. I don't recall this in a previous beta version.
1) open notepad
2) click desktop - it will refresh
3) click notepad - it will gain focus
4) click desktop - it will refresh

Does the issue still happen if you remove the splits?

No, it does not seem to happen when there are no splits active.

Can you send me over a backup of your settings? You can grab them in the options tab with the "Export Settings" button.
