Hello,
Environment:
Windows 7 Ent x64
DF 3.5.0 beta 2
2 monitors
The problem I have is that when you have multiple buttons that are combined in the DF generated (second monitor) taskbar once you click on the combined button it will act just like a non combined button.
For the windows taskbar (primary monitor) if you mouse over the button the small windows will come up and if you click on the combined button on the task bar the small windows will stay up, will not disappear, until you click on something, anything on the screen. It's just like locking the "preview" samll windows to stay opened.
With the DF generated taskbar the preview will close or open.
Steps to reproduce:
1 Have a DF taskbar with combined buttons.
2 Mouse over the combined button - the preview will come up - if you move the mouse the preview will go away.
3 Click on the combined button on the taskbar - the preview will hide
4 Click again on the combined button on the taskbar - the preview will come up - if you move the mouse the preview will go away.
Expected behavior - the way it works on the Windwos Taskbar:
1 Mouse over the combined button - the preview will come up - if you move the mouse the preview will go away.
2 Click on the combined button on the taskbar - the preview will lock and you can move the mouse anywhere on the screen and the preview will still be there
3 Click again on the combined button on the taskbar - the preview will hide
4 Click again on the combined button on the taskbar - the preview will come up - you can move the mouse anywhere on the screen and the preview will still be there
Bug or enhancement?
Thanks
No worries, thanks for reporting it!

was this problem supposed to be fixed by beta 8?
"Double-clicking a taskbar tray icon no longer performs the single and double-click action"
Nope, we're still working on this one. That entry in the change log was for the system tray icons (next to the clock).
