Hi there guys, it's been a while since I've had any issues, but now that there's one that I'm bumping into frequently, I'm back.
The program Directory Opus 10 (a Windows Explorer replacement (and then some)) has an option to open one of it's windows (think: explorer window) when you double-click on the desktop (in and empty area). With DF 5.1.0b14/b15, this has quit working- a double-click on the desktop no longer brings up the file browser window.
I've been able to reproduce this on 2 machines, one with Win7 (ATI+2 monitors) and another with Win8 (NVIDIA+3 monitors).
Let me know what you need and I'll see what I can do.

I can confirm this as the same thing is happening to me. When I close DisplayFusion the issue of not being able to open Directory Opus by double clicking the desktop goes away.
I've just tested with 5.1 B15 in Win 7 x64 with Directory Opus x64, and the desktop double-click seems to work for me. Could one of you guys attach a copy of your DisplayFusion Settings? (Settings > Options > Backup).
Thanks!

I've now updated to DF 5.1.0 b16.
If DF is opened *after* DOpus is launched (or, more precisely, after the dopusrt.exe process is running- dopusrt.exe is the process that has the hooks for the double-click on desktop function), then DOpus doesn't open it's window after a double-click on the desktop.
If DF is opened *before* DOpus is launched (again, *before* the dopusrt.exe process is running), then DOpus sees the double-clicks and opens it's windows when you do this.
Seems like something you guys changed after b13 changed how this works, because it worked up to that point.
I've attached the DF settings .reg file as requested.

We're still working on this. We've found the cause of the issue, but we're opening a ticket with Microsoft, as it seems there may be a bug in Windows that's causing our hook code to not pass the messages on to other applications (like Directory Opus). We'll keep you posted as soon as we're able to get it sorted out.
Thanks!
