I would love to make this a poll, but don't see that option.

I am wondering what BFS's priorities are for DF regarding fixing existing bugs/issues vs adding in new features? I am a VERY long-time SQL Server consultant, and time and again I have been called in to help clients that chose poorly between those two options.

I am also wondering which of those two options the community would prefer? Please respond which, so that BFS can see what we, the customers, feel is most important.

Thanks in advance!

I suspect that the Linux market is fairly small compared to Windows. But it may still represent more new revenue for BFS than improving what they have for Windows. However, there is competition brewing in the Windows space, and they don't want to get behind the curve on that front either.

I hope BFS will enlighten us on their plans!! :-)

BTW, my vote is definitely for fixes. I currently have a 25-item-long list I have been collecting since December. I just haven't prioritized getting it finalized for useful consumption. Sigh . . .

Hello,

Bug fixes are much higher priority then feature requests for us at this point. You can look at our change logs for our last few versions (https://www.displayfusion.com/ChangeLog/), and see the ratio of bug fixes to new features are heavily skewed towards bug fixes.

We do still track votes from customers as well, to see what is most requested for both :)

Thanks!
