I have been using display fusion Pro for a few weeks now and thought I would provide some feedback as I think it's an excellent product. The main reason for purchase was to be able to split my widescreen monitor in two and use a smaller side screen. A few issues that I've encountered are as follows.

Opening of windows/programmes – This is the most annoying issue for me. I have seen this posted previously, but the main annoyance is that if you open a new program, or an email or anything new, the position of the new window seems random across the desktop. Also it never seems to open in full screen and sometimes across split screens overlapping already open windows. So you have to full screen and drag the window each time to the position you want. It would be nice that there is a function that can force any new windows associated with an already open programme to open in the same window/screen as the already active programme. For example opening an e-mail would open it to the same screen where outlook is open. I have seen the options to open for example Excel to a specific screen, but cant do these triggers for all programmes. Would be nice to have a list option, where for example you could select the programmes that you want on the left split, separate list for the right split, other screen ect..

Highlighting text - When highlighting text, for example in a Word document or e-mail and pulling the mouse with button pressed towards the taskbar to continue scrolling to the bottom of the document switches the window to one behind or the desktop. It appears as soon as the mouse moves over the display fusion taskbar that this deactivates the current window. The work around is that I have to prevent going too close the taskbar but the scrolling speed is slow.

Startup Autoload Application - I followed the guide on the web page to try and trigger the opening of Outlook to a specific screen when the computer starts. I tried several times and all that happens is outlook repeatedly loads continuously until I exit display fusion. Therefore I don't seem to be able to use this function.

Video conference screen selection – I understand this is not a display fusion problem, but thought I would mention this. In some video conference software, it cannot recognise the split screens of display fusion. Understandably it is the same screen but it would be nice if there is some way to be able to force a screen to be a split. When I share my screen on Webex for example, it shows the entire width of the widescreen. I cant select the window option in the conference software as I need to share the entire screen area.

This is not criticism it is constructive feedback based on my experience with DP Pro so far.

Thanks for the feedback. I have some comments:

1. Ok, i would say thats a big one to fix for many.

4. This does not work with Google Meet. It wont let you share the window and shows an error. Have not tried other software yet.

Another issue i forgot to mention is that if you are ariting an email, then move to another split every 5 mins or so it tries to force close the email and the Outlook popup shows saying if you want to save the email. I dont know what is causing this, it seems like a display fusion refresh or something.
