An unknown error has occurred.
Could not load file or assembly 'System.Security, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.

This is the error I've been receiving. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling with the trial version etc.. nothing works so far.

Responded in the Steam discussion topic, please let me know if you still run into any trouble after trying my steps there :)

Thanks!

I receive the Steam error every time at startup still, so I guess this hasn't been fully resolved..

Can you check the following registry key, to see if there's a value called "LicenseKeySteam"?

HKCU\Software\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion

If there isn't, could you try creating it, and pasting your Steam license key into it?

Where can I get my steam key? It doesn't show it available in steam.

It should show on the Settings > License Key tab in DisplayFusion. If not, let me know :)

Can you attach a screenshot of the error, and also a backup of your DisplayFusion Settings? (Settings > Options > Export)

Thanks! I've sent over a .reg file for you to import via email. Didn't want to post it here because I would have to make it public for you to download it, and it has your license key in it :)
