I'm on Windows 10 (v1903 Build 18362.836), and I keep getting this mouse input lag every minute or so. I've been searching though a bunch of forum posts and done a lot of googling and have found that it's most likely the Application Hook, which I've confirmed by disabling it and seeing the lagg disapear.

Following the debugging steps others have done, I've found that it looks like the Application hook is trying to do something with the
C:\Windows\explorer.exe
. The weird thing is I don't have any Explorer windows open when I see the lagg...

We've fixed a performance issue similar to this in the latest 9.7 Beta versions, would you be able to try updating and let me know how it works out?

  • On the Settings > Options tab, enable the "Check for new Beta (newer, unstable) versions" option
  • Click the Apply button
  • Click the "Check for Updates" button
