I've noticed that full-screen apps on my second monitor, especially Outlook 2007, intermittently end up on top of the taskbar, which I always set to auto-hide (I need all the desk space I can get). To get the taskbar back I have to minimize the offending app, access the taskbar once, and then re-maximize the app. This will happen, with no apparent pattern, several times a day.

Hi Dann, would you be able to post the information from the Troubleshooting tab, in the Settings window after this problem happens next? This information should tell me why DisplayFusion is trying to hide the taskbar. Thanks!

Thanks, John. Sorry it took me awhile to get to this - I've had "bigger fish to fry", as they say. Currently Outlook 2007 is maximized on my secondary monitor, and I cannot access the taskbar for that screen. This system is running Win2008 R2, but the same thing happenend on the previous system running 2008 32-bit. (before the MB blew up....!!) Here's the info you requested:

Any new thoughts on this one, John?

Hi Dann, I have re-written much of the "on-top" detection code for the 3.1 beta and it should take care of your issue. Thanks for posting your information, it helped while troubleshooting. :)
