During heavy hard drive churn when one of the windows on the secondary monitor is involved the DF taskbar has the tendency to change into a window frame for a few seconds.. I'm including a screenshot.

It looks like it's changing into the "not responding" window, or something similar. I've made some threading improvements to the next release, hopefully this will get taken care of in the first public beta. Thanks!

Sorry for the late follow-up, but can you give the new 3.1.8 betas a try (currently on Beta 3) and see if the issue has been resolved? There have been a number of locking issues fixed, and I'm hopefully that yours is fixed as well. Thanks! :)

I am sorry for this late report back. But unfortunately, as of 3.1.8.106 the problem still exists on Vista SP2. I have yet to try beta 7 and I haven't used Windows 7 enough with the latest betas to see if it happens there. I will report back if I see it on Windows 7, if the particular OS matters at all.

I would be very interested to hear if it still happens in the new Beta 8, and if it happens in Windows 7 as well. :) Thanks!
