This applies to Windows 7 SP1 x86 and x64 Professional. If UAC is set active, DisplayFusion 3.4.1(Beta12) will not start up on system reboot.

I do not know if this just started with Beta 12 because I typically do not have UAC active. I was testing something else by activating UAC and discovered that DF will not start up with UAC active.

Seems to be ok here on my machine and test machines, I typically always run with UAC enabled. Could you try reverting back to 3.4 (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/) to see if the issue still occurs?

Thanks!

V3.4.0 does not start up either with UAC active.

I also completely uninstalled DF and re-installed it to see if that would fix it. It does not. With UAC active, DF will not start up on system reboot. On starting it up manually, the UAC alert window occurs and permission to start manually has to be okay'd.

Update: If I uncheck "Run as Administrator" under Privilege Level on file DisplayFusion.exe, DF will start up on system reboot with UAC on or off. I tested this on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 SP1 Professional. As installed on both Windows versions, "Run as Administrator" was set active.

Sounds about right! I believe you'd run into the same issue with any program attempting to run as Administrator on startup no?
