I have a small program that I execute from time to time when I will be away from my PC. This program shuts down the monitors
while I am away for a period of time. With DF running, the monitors will not shutdown. As I execute the program, the monitors
go dark for a short period and then reemerge. Is there a setting that I can activate/deactivate that may relieve this situation?

This is the program made available by Steve Gibson.

This is the shortcut used to initiate the monitor shut off,

C:\WIZMO\wizmo.exe monoff

Thanks Ken, I'll test this out as soon as I get a chance and I'll keep you posted on what I find out.

Tested and confirmed! Could you try adding a Compatibility rule on the Settings > Compatibility tab for wizmo.exe, and in the rule, enable the "Disable Application Hooks" option? That seemed to fix it up for me :)

Thanks!

Thanks so much for taking the time to investigate my problem. I had to also 'disable the title bar buttons (this application
only)'. Then it works fine. Problem solved.

Awesome, glad to hear it! We'll blacklist wizmo.exe from getting hooked and titlebar buttons in future versions so that the Compatibility rule won't be needed any more :)
