I've been plagued by an issue for about three years now, and I finally narrowed it down: I have a multi-display setup on my Windows 10 PC. My Power Options is set to turn off display after 20 minutes. However, the monitiors do not turn off and keep flickering non-stop.

The issues comes and goes every few months. This time I noticed it started after I upgraded to version 9.5. On a hunch I reverted back to 9.4.3 and the problem went away.

It seems some versions cause this issue with my PC and others don't.

Any suggestions? Please let me know if there is any information I can provide to help troubleshoot. Thank you.

EDIT: I have been using DF longer than I can remember, but this problem has been haunting me for at least 2 years now.

That's really strange, I've never run into that before! Any chance you could capture a video of what happens and attach it?

Wow, definitely have never seen that before! If you exit DisplayFusion, do the monitors enter sleep mode without issues?

Could you also send over a debug log for this issue?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Thank you for looking into my issue and providing troubleshooting steps. Once again I am leaving town for the long weekend. I will have the requested logs next week...
