I use a DigitalPersona Fingerprint reader to facilitate logging in to my computer. Ever since I have installed DiaplayFusion my fingerprints are not being recognised on the logon screen. This is not a great problem, but it is annoying. I am using an HP dv7 laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Strange! If you add a Compatibility rule (http://www.displayfusion.com/KB/TroubleshootingInfo/#createcompatibilityrule) for DigitalPersona that disable the Application Hooks, does that help at all?

Thanks!

Thanks, that solved the problem! I don't know what option did the job, but I disabled every option in the Compatibility screen.

Excellent, glad to hear it! It was most likely the Application Hooks. Some security type software (like the fingerprint readers) don't like to be hooked :)

Thanks!
