Hi, im trying to have my vlc borderless, putting it in minimalistic mode and going to the compatibility option bit isnt working

anything that i could try?

That's not what those Compatibility options are for, but there is a way to do this with a scripted function:

On the Settings > Functions tab, click Scripted Function > Download Scripted
Download the one called "Remove Border and Caption from Window"
Give it a key combination and apply the settings
Put VLC in minimal mode with Ctrl + H
Run the DisplayFusion function using the key combination that you set
Play your video and enjoy
