Windows 10 display settings allows you to disconnect and connect specific monitors. I have four monitors and would like to be able to do this with a hot key combination to toggle each monitor between connected and disconnected. It is not at all practical to create 16 different profiles for each possible configuration and then try to memorize which is which so please don't suggest that! Thanks!

Thanks, Keith. Another software called MultiMonitorTool provides commands (which I trigger with hot keys) to disconnect and reconnect monitors but unfortunately, I can't just use MultiMonitorTool on its own because when you reconnect a display, it gets put in a different place in respect to the others. It seems like DisplayFusion is capable of remembering where a display is meant to be so it would be okay if I could somehow combine both programs. However, if I disconnect a display using MultiMonitorTool, DisplayFusion overrides the disconnection immediately and reconnects the display, presumably to maintain the profile it is set to. Is there any way to make DisplayFusion allow the disconnection and not try to reconnect displays disconnected by outside means? That way MultiMonitorTool could manage which monitor is connected/disconnected and DisplayFusion could manage where the displays are in relation to each other. I'm guessing my feature request will be some time away from inclusion, assuming it ever is.
DisplayFusion never automatically applies Monitor Profiles, so it shouldn't be what's causing your display to re-connect right away. If you exit DisplayFusion and use your MultiMonitorTool app to disconnect the monitor, does it still re-connect?

Hi Keith; you're right, that wasn't what was happening (although I'm still not sure exactly what was).
Just to make it clear for my feature request above, when a monitor is disconnected and later reconnected via the hotkey, DisplayFusion should remember its location when it was disconnected and restore it there if possible (assuming the displays haven't been manually moved around since).
