Hello all,

I am new to trying out DF, and I am having an issue with the 'Move to Next/Previous Monitor and Size Proportionally' setting... Although the function itself is absolutely fantastic and works a treat, the issue that I have is the orientation/number/location of my displays.

I have four panels, orientated as:

Monitor 2
Monitor 4 Monitor 1 Monitor 3

Monitor 1 is the Acer XB270HU (27"/144Hz/G-Sync/2560*1440), the others are an LG 27EA33 (IPS 27"/60Hz/1920*1080), Samsung S27B550 (27"/60Hz/1920*1080) and a small Dell D2015H (19"/60Hz/TN/1920*1080 - This monitor is dedicated to system telemetry primarily and only houses programs to monitor my computer).

The problem is that when I send it to the 'next' monitor, although it does indeed go to the next chronological display, it doesn't go to them in any logical order, as you can see, they go from my primary display, to my telemetry display, then the rightmost 'main' display, then the leftmost 'main' display... I am sure that you can understand how this might be a nagging issue...

Is there any solution to this, is it possible to change the number of the displays without changing their location in my grid?

Any help sorting this 'issue' would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thank you kindly for your time and assistance,

~J

You can override the monitor order that DisplayFusion uses for the "Move to next/previous" functions in the Settings > Advanced Settings. There's a setting called "Monitor Order," and you'd enter the monitor IDs separated by commas, like so:

1,2,3,4

Hope that helps!
