After upgrading from 10.1.2 to 11.0, all my triggers stopped working. Had to roll back to 10.1.2.

Updated, seems mostly good.

The feature for ordering settings tabs alphabetically is not working well with translations applied. The tabs should be ordered according to the display language, not English.

Same here, triggers not working with v11. Please fix this asap. This is the main feature I use and now it's not working. What a disappointment... Aditionally websites as screensaver still not working in this new version.
How can I roll back to older version?
Thx.

If you saved the export of the settings of the previous version, import it (into the registry, as an ordinary *.reg file), then download the old version from https://www.displayfusion.com/OldVersion/ and install it over the new one. (This worked for me.)

Was talking to someone via emails regarding an issue with W11 24H2 and the wallpaper engine not working correctly.

Installing Display Fusion or updating will make it work most of the time but upon rebooting, the wallpaper engine compeltely halts, it doesn't actually change the wallpaper/background and I am having to resort to disabling one of the main features i purchased Display Fusion for to use windows slide show.

There are ways to tempoarily fix it but each reboot it will get stuck again.

The Update does not fix this.

Could everyone here with trigger issues send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

@notwalkin That issue is specific to 24H2, not v11. It's still on our list though, we'll let you know if we're able to get it fixed up.

Thanks!

Just to follow-up on what Owen posted, if you are having the Triggers issue have you rebooted since you installed v11? Thanks!

Hello.
v11 update installed, lost some triggers shortcuts.
Rebooted. Still lost, can't reset.
I was using CTRL+WIN+W and CTRL+WIN+X but DF now says Windows reserved them.

Thanks for Steam pinned now combining even if it's still messing with Rockstar Social Club and GooglePlayGames.

@AGu: Thank you for the information! Would you be able to enable debug logging on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab, restart DisplayFusion, then try your triggers again? After this can you submit your debug info again just like before, the zip file will have your log this way for us to debug further. Thanks!

@AGu: Can you let me know the process you're using to replicate the issue? Like you open an app with a trigger configured for it and nothing happens?

For anyone with the missing CTRL+WIN+X hotkey we have just released DisplayFusion v11.0.1 to fix this. The hotkey will be missing still but you can set it up again in the Settings > Functions tab and it won't block you from configuring it unless you are on Windows 11 24H2 where Windows has reserved this key combination.

Triggers still not working even with 11.0.1 update. My main trigger is when a specific app is opened, my monitor layout changes. Before v11 it always worked, now it is broken...

I figured out why my triggers weren't working. The thing is, my triggers are tied to monitor profiles. They weren't working because DF didn't recognize my current monitor configuration. After I loaded the saved monitor profile, the triggers started working right away. Alarm over. Thanks!

The only flaw I can see now is the overlapping of text by images on the About tab. :)

11.0.1 installed, rebooted, still not able to set CTRL+WIN+W.
CTRL+WIN+X is ok.

One good point I forgot, settings panel opening way faster than 10.x is a joy.

@Ser7: You may need to load and re-save your monitor profiles if they are linked to a specific trigger. Can you give that a try and let me know if it works?

@AGu: That's great news, thanks for letting us know about the monitor profile detection. If you re-save your monitor profiles you should be able to avoid that in the future too. For the about page thank you for the screenshot we'll take a look and get this fixed up as well.

@Psy : That's great to hear about the Settings window speed, we put a lot of work into that. For the hotkey binding we're looking into the Ctrl+Win+W hotkey right now.

Thanks!

I use it so rarely I didn't see it was missing in my settings, but CTRL+WIN+T is also impossible to set.

So I took a little time for some tests. All with CTRL+WIN, on an AZERTY keyboard.
No problem: Esc F1 F2 F3 F5 F6 F7 F8 F9 F10 F11 F12 ² ) = Tab A B G H I J K L R U Y Z ^ $ ù * < , ; : ! Apps ScrollLock Break Insert Home PageUp Del End PageDown and all numpad
Can set but then tell its already in use: F4 C M N O P V BackSpace
Can't set at all: & é " ' ( - è _ ç à D E F Q S T W

I never thought before I could use "Apps" key for shortcuts. -_-

@Psy: It depends on your Windows version but in Windows 11 Ctrl+Win+T is reserved by Windows. DisplayFusion is incorrectly blocking it in v11 and v11.0.1 but we're prepping v11.0.2 with better hotkey checking.
