Excellent, thank you so much for this release! Now that I see what you've done in 3.0.5, I am waiting quite anxiously for this release as well :) Great work!

Thanks, I'm glad to hear you are enjoying it. I'm very excited about the 3.0.5 release as well, as it will add native look-and-feel for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users. :)

The mouse over thumbnails are great! But I'm only getting them on my secondary monitor. Nothing on the primary monitor. :cry:

This feature is more to bring DF inline with how Windows 7 shows thumnails. I'm guessing we won't see that from XP's main taskbar.

@BigJim: Sorry, I have no plans to add this functionality to the Windows taskbar. Windows Vista/Win7 already have this feature for the Windows taskbar, so it's only XP left out at this point. Sorry for the bad news, but I only have so many hours per day to code, and I have some big new features planned instead. :)

@BigJim
You can use Taskbar Shuffle (freeware) to show previews on your primary monitor. It works perfectly in conjunction with DF.

I'm using Taskbar Shuffle and am not seeing that functionality. Are you sure you aren't thinking of something else? Perhaps you are thinking of Visual Tooltip? (http://www.chrisnsoft.com/visual-tooltip/) Or is it something else?

Wow, 3.04 is great so far. No issues at all.

I see in 3.05 that the "only show relevant windows on each taskbar" will be working for Win7. It seems to me in 3.04 that it is working partially? My DisplayFusion Taskbar ONLY shows Windows from that monitor, which I think is different than how it was in the last version? Anyway, loving the software.

In fact, DisplayFusion and its development/communications environment have been a huge relief and step forward after feeling orphaned by stale and crusty Ultramon... and its official stance of, Win7 can't possibly be supported yet and the changes are huge and overwhelmingly complex, and various other reasons/excuses that were posted to their paying customers. I mean holy wow, they couldn't even be bothered to post a new executable that looked for some registry entries, to make it easier to install on Win7! Piss poor and mediocre...

Ah well, it was good while it lasted Ultramon, but new and juicy is in town and things are being done right on several fronts as far as I can tell and at a fair, even tending towards a "genuine bargain" price! I for one won't be looking back...

Thanks again John! Can't wait for 3.0.5

Welcome to the club!

My problem with Ultraman was absolute disbelief at how expensive it was for no more than it did. You could do some wallpaper switching but you had to run extra scripts and stuff. Development was (and is) painfully slow as well (and the developer doesn't seem to be in any hurry to get it working on W7).

I remember saying way back that DisplayFusion would be the perfect app if only it had a taskbar for a second monitor and Jon said he was already working on it! He's all over this thing. :-D

Yah, benway has been here a lot longer than I have, but my conversion to DF from UM was accomplished in a little over 24 hours....

I found this app by accident, sent off an email to Jon about how the app works with Vista and Win , and he replied within minutes - I was hooked just from the fast turnaround time - I bought the app within 24 hours and Jon offered to allow me to help Beta test the app under Windows 7.

I have to agree with both of y'all - DF is the way to go.
I am I.
