Hi There,

I've been trying to deploy DisplayFusion 8 across my home network using the MSI/MST but the installer has been hanging, similar to what happens if you deploy without using the MST.

When I dug into it a bit further, I was able to apply the bundled MST file against the 7.3.4 MSI in Orca without any problems, but when I tried to do the same against the MSI for v8.0 an error is thrown and the MST doesn't apply.

I've attached screengrabs from the two Orca sessions. 800.jpg shows the transformation but doesn't have the green bar like in 734.jpg, meaning it won't apply.

I'm not sure what's different, but it may be something to take a look at.

Tim

Thanks for letting us know, that's definitely weird! I'll do some investigating here to find out what's up.

Hi There,

Just wanted to see if you'd been able to recreate the problem or if it's something I'm doing on my end?

Thanks,
Tim

Sorry for the delay! I finally had a chance to test this out, and it works ok for me. I see the same thing as your screenshot for 7.3.4 when I apply the transform to DisplayFusionSetup-8.0.msi.

Are you using the MST from the .ZIP file for DisplayFusion 8.0, or are you using an older one that you had stored locally?
