Hi,

I've got a new PC at work and we use MSRA for some work based activity.
I think DF is trying to add little buttons to the titlebar (?) of the app, perhaps and it's causing all kinds of errors and shenanigans.

---------------------------
Windows Remote Assistance: msra.exe - Bad Image
---------------------------
C:\Program Files (x86)\DisplayFusion\Hooks\AppHook64_6D13F963-4520-4360-AED8-8E792BC6B1F9.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000428.

OK

We don't have full local admin on our machines - I can run things as admin but it's kinda clashiing
Is there any way I can simply add "msra.exe" to a list of "IGNORE THIS PLEASE" applications?

This will be fixed for the next version for sure, but in the meantime, you should be able to create a compatibility rule for it:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Compatibility tab, click Add.
  • Set the "Application" field to: c:\windows\system32\msra.exe
  • Enable the "Disable Application Hooks" checkbox.
  • Click OK, then OK again.

Hope that helps!
