DisplayFusion 9.9 Now Available!

We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 9.9 is now available for download! This version fixes a bunch of Windows 11 issues, some general issues, and has some minor updates to the settings window.

DisplayFusion 9.9 Highlights

Note: DisplayFusion 9.9 and 10.0 Beta 11 are the same build. We've released it as 9.9 stable to get the Windows 11 fixes out to everyone.
Change: Minor tweaks to the Settings window UI
Change: On new installations, single-click on the tray icon now defaults to Settings instead of Desktop Wallpaper
Change: Added a run as administrator option to pinned taskbar buttons
Change: Added the "microphone in use" icon to the taskbar tray
Change: Separated mouse no-snag into separate X and Y settings
Change: Updated some taskbar elements to match Windows 11 more closely (more updates coming in future betas)
Change: Much improved code editor for scripted functions
Fix: A bunch of Windows 11 fixes (we're still working through the full list)
Fix: Reddit wallpaper fix when using r/ultrahdwallpapers
Fix: Potentially fixed taskbar being fully transparent on some systems
Fix: DesktopXamlWindow entry no longer shows in Alt+Tab
Fix: The date on the taskbar no longer gets cut off in Windows 11
Fix: Taskbar clock/calendar no longer has a different colour background than the rest of the taskbar
Fix: Video wallpaper will now work correctly even if it can't find the proper audio codec

Still getting a 404 here, on all products.

Any reason to update from 9.8 if you're on Windows 10? This seems to be a lot of stuff dealing Windows 11 which I have no plans on touching.

unfortunately another 404 error code if I click the install button. Tried it a couple of times now, result remains the same.

Looks like it's region/country dependant. If I try to download it from computers in Sweden I get 404, if I try to use a computer located in UK (or VPN to UK) it works. Are you using mirrors for different regions?

Hi all, there's something weird with our CDN possibly caching 404s on some edge servers for some reason. We're still looking into it but we will post an update when we think we've got it sorted out so that you can try again.

I use Windows 11 plus three screens. I find that if the Multi-Monitor Taskbars function is enabled in DF 9.9, when multiple applications are opened (I open it to about 10), the CPU utilization of DF will be much higher. Give it feedback to you for testing.

Has 10.0 Beta 11 been released or is this a typo? Latest beta I have installed is 10.0 Beta 10.

Should I "downgrade" to 9.9 or stay on 10.0 Beta 10?

Appreciate any clarification!

@Chris G1: Beta 11 will be released either this afternoon or tomorrow. You can install 9.9 over top of Beta 10 if you want to be on the non-beta build, or if you want to stay on the betas, 11 will be out shortly
