I'm having a problem on Logos Bible Software. Someone on their forum noticed the icon on the screenshot I sent and asked what it was. I decided to test it by turning DisplayFusion off and voila, with DisplayFusion off everything suddenly worked perfectly on Logos.
The situation?
On the right monitor I have a window containing a list of resources (books, etc.).
On the left monitor I have a floating window that contains tabs that determine what resource is active in the floating window.
I click-drag an item from the resource list in the right window to the tabs area on the left window.
When I release it, the resource should show as a new tab in the floating window.
Thes problem?
Now when the cursor is dragged over the tab area in the floating window it changes to a circle with a bar through it and won't open a new tab.
If I move the cursor around back and forth, up and down then that circle/bar goes away and I if I let it go at precisely the right time it will open a tab.
But that now only works in a very tiny portion of the tab area, and it is almost impossible to let the cursor go at precisely the right time because I'd immediately have to freeze the cursor at that dot and my hand can't quit moving that rapidly. The area is so small that if you move the cursor even an extremely tiny bit the circle/bar icon for the cursor comes back on and it won't work. It sometimes takes me twenty to thirty tries to make a drag-drop work..
I turned DisplayFusion off and suddenly everything works again fine. I tested it once more. When I turned DisplayFusion on the problemd came back, and when I turned it off again the problem disappeared. I hope this explanation is intelligible.
I don't recall the problem existing under Windows 10, so I think the interaction between the two programs on Windows 11 is likely to blame. I am not sure where the fix lies.
Thanks for your consideration.
Dale
Could you send over a video of the issue?

Great idea! Shows it much more clearly than words can do. I created two short screen recordings (mp4's with Win 11's Snipping Tool).
1 DF Off -- works smoothly. In this case DisplayFusion is OFF. This shows how I drag an item from the library window on the right to anywhere in the tab area of the floating window on the left. You will notice that a black bar appears betwween two of the tabs. Which tabs it apepars between depends on where the cursor is positioned. I simply release the mouse button and a new tab is created. The position of the cursor can be anywhere in the tab area and it works seamlessly and never fails.
2 DF On -- fails. This shows that when I try to do what I did above and DisplayFusion is running. The black bar between the tabs does not automatically appear. It will occasionally flash on if I get the curosr in precisely the right spot yet with no clue as to where that tiny spot may be. But since I am dragging the cursor around within the tab area, the bar blinks and is gone before I can react to it and release the mouse button. Then I have to start all over. And I have to go through this process often 20 or 30 times to get lucky and have the tab created. It is simply impossible to time the release of the mouse cursor to that precise microsecond when the black bar appears before it is gone. The black bar should not disappear, but as in the first example it should be constantly on anytime my cursor is in the tab area.
I hope that explanation along with the videos will make sense. But if not, I'll try again. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for sending that over. In the DisplayFusion Settings > Window Management tab, do you have "Show a Tooltip when moving or re-sizing a window to display location and size" enabled? If so can you try to disable that and see if the issue persists?
