I won't pretend to understand this, but it's a repeatable problem. DisplayFusion has a great feature that lets me lock the mouse cursor to a particular monitor, which is really handy when playing full-screen games that aren't smart enough to do this. Unfortunately, I find that when I use the feature it has a strange side-effect: every so often DisplayFusion drags me back to the desktop.

For example, I was playing Gotham City Imposters a couple of nights ago, and I was using DisplayFusion's feature to lock my cursor to my main monitor (largely because I had the monitor to my right turned off and didn't need the cursor wandering over there while I was trying to shoot my opponents). Every couple of minutes I was getting yanked out of the game and dragged back to the Windows desktop. As soon as I closed DisplayFusion the problem went away.

Since then I've taken to closing DisplayFusion before I play games, but that's a little irritating both because I then lack the cursor-lock feature and have to restart it when I'm done. Is there any workaround for this? Is it a known problem? If not, can I help with it somehow? Thanks in advance!

Does this issue occur only when you use the mouse locking HotKey, or any time DisplayFusion is running, even without using the mouse locking HotKey?

Thanks!

Good question. I only noticed it when using the locking hotkey, but I'll run some tests tonight and get back to you with more data.
