As an avid user (paid for) of Displayfusion on Windows, I'd just like to say thanks for this and I wonder if you can answer a question? I'm quite getting into Linux at the moment, but there isn't an equivalent of Displayfusion on it - do you have any plans to produce a Linux variant of it, please?
Thanks for the kind words! Unfortunately we don't have any plans for a Linux version at the moment, but if we do release one in the future, we'll be sure to let you know
Add my +1 to a Linux version as well. Display Fusion is one of the four programs that's holding me back from moving over to Linux completely. I could ignore the other three (games) but I'd just miss DF too much.
Also a +1 from me for a Linux version. In addition, if you wanted to create DisplayFusion Linux as an open source tool, I'd be happy to contribute, and potentially even write some code for it.
You can technically achieve screen zones with xrandr but it'll have drawbacks like full screen applications only fullscreening inside the zone instead of using the entire area.
+1 ... Linux is now in the mainstream ... many IT professionals are using it ... already purchased a license for my windows box and wouldn't hesitate to get one more for my laptop using linux. Cheer's
@wcizmowski, If you head to our website and login, you can go to the "My Profile" section. If you click "Edit", you should see a checkbox for "Please email me Support Discussion Replies" that you can disable.
+1 Please add my vote for a linux version of DF! I love the software, hence why I purchased it. I'm loving using Linux and would love to be able to add DF to my laptop. Even if the app has a bumpy start, you'll find many in the linux loving community willing to help develop the linux version of DF into what it is today in Windows!
Would still love to see DF on Linux, but at least for spanning an image over multiple monitors I've finally found something that actually works! But for everything else DF brings to the table, I will still wait for it

I just seen a nice youtube video about DF and was surprised that there is no Linux version yet.
The linux comunity is growing fast, please consider to implement it.
+1 since windows 10 will expire in late 2025, many users will migrate their OS over to Linux because the CPUs that didnt make the Windows 11 cut are still more than capable. It would be smart to develop this product for Linux since Linux doesnt have much competition in this space. Gamers are very well supported on Steam for Linux. I plan to build a dual boot machine using x58 MB and i7 980x before October 2025
Please count my vote too! DF is the only program that was stopping me from migrating to Linux the last 5 years. There are so many users missing the dim monitors feature on Linux and there's no alternative for them. Press a key combo and specific monitors are dimmed. Press it again and resume. Press new combo and only active monitor is lighten up.
I'm trying to write my own script that does this right now, but your software is way more superior! It'll be a very smart move to release a stripped demo version for linux. You can even fund it with donations. See how many people will donate for the project and if the number grows continue development. Please consider!
throw in a vote from me.if not native Linux support, could yall at least make it work with proton through steam? given that yall already distribute the software through there
+1 that's almost the only thing that make me staying on win as host system ^^'
Just the split screen & profile switching that truely disable screens would be enought à
I've been a paid user of Display Fusion for many years. Like many others Windows 10 in the end of the road for Windows desktop. I'd pay for a new license in a heartbeat for a linux version.
Personally, I'd settle for a WallpaperFusion, an application that would only allow you to manage your wallpapers in an advanced way, with support for multiple screens, etc., without all the other features offered by DisplayFusion.
It seems simpler to develop, and would be a very welcome first step
