I thought this was several other problems at first, but I finally got it. I'm using this start orb:

When I select it in Startisback, it makes it larger on the taskbar on my second monitor. So here is the comparison:

edit: all the default start orbs in Startisback work fine, but this one doesn't.

DisplayFusion can't always read the correct size of the button, in which case it scales it up to the full size of the taskbar. However, you can adjust the scale in the DisplayFusion Settings > Advanced Settings window. To start, try setting the Taskbar > Start Button Scale option to something like 0.5, then tweak it from there.

You'll need to reload the taskbar each time you change that setting, which you can do by right-clicking the taskbar and navigating to Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Position > Bottom.

Hope that helps!

That half fixes it... I can make the orb size right, but the spacing along the edges is way off.

edit. Displayfusion seems to have some issue with every start orb I use... Going from left to right in the default Startisback start orbs:

1: Doesn't change when hovered over or clicked.
2: Likes to cut off the right side of the orb sometimes
3: Shrinks the orb like my custom orb, AND misaligned the spacing around it.
4: Messes with the glow when hovering or clicked, causing the glow to look like a square.

A lot of people use Startisback... support for Startisback orbs should probably be a moderate-high priority.

Ok, thanks for the update! I'll do some more testing here and we'll see what we can do.

Ok, the custom buttons definitely need some work on our taskbar. We've got this on our list and we'll post an update as soon as we're able to get it all sorted out.

Thanks!

I see there was an update that changed the start orb problem a bit... Close but no cigar... The spacing around the start orb still doesn't look right, and it's still slightly deformed. I attached a file with a cropping of both taskbars to show my point.

Yep, we'll be working on this again for the next version and will hopefully have some good news. I'll be sure to post an update when we have one.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

After first installing it gave me some weird issues with cutting off the left and right sides of the orb, but it did keep it centered properly. After switching orbs a few times to test if it was a problem with specific orbs, it fixed itself. Now it's working perfectly!

NICE JOB! And thank you for taking the time to actually come back here and let me know.
