I've loved having DisplayFusion ever since I discovered it several years ago.

However, since I've moved to Windows 10 (I believe that's when I first discovered this issue), it has become less and less useful with my Internet Browsers, especially now that they've been modernised.

I've been using DisplayFusion's Function icons (in the title bar area) to move windows to areas across my two monitors but now with these more modern sleek web browsers, those icons are almost always no longer there because the space for them simply no longer exists (often because when I have more than a few browser tabs the icons automatically hide themselves).

I have this issue with Google Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. And it's particularly bad when you have 'a few' tabs open in your browser window (I've just tested the limit, and it is 4 tabs in Firefox before DisplayFusion hides those Function buttons in the title bar).

Please can you suggest what I can do ?

I've taken a look at reducing the size of those tabs but that requires manual coding (probably not too difficult but a pain!).

It's almost gotten to the point that I'm not sure how much longer I can continue to use Displayfusion as my preferred multi-monitor software.

Many thanks.

You can disable the auto-hiding of the buttons by enabling the "TitleBar Buttons: Don't Hide for Top-Tabs" option in the Settings > Advanced Settings window.

If they get in the way, you could setup a Compatibility rule for the browser that moves them to a better location :)

Hope that helps!

Thanks Keith for the suggestions, but where would that better location be ??

If you look at the internet browsers of today, there isn't anywhere really where you can put these buttons.

In their pursuit to maximise the real-estate inside their windows, they've left nothing free !

And when I mentioned that once my tabs are up to 4 in number, that is a very small number as far as I'm concerned. Often, I might have 10 or more....

Yeah, I know what you mean. You could enable the bookmarks bar, and as long as you leave some space at the end of that, you could move the TitleBar Buttons there.

That's about all I can suggest here, sorry :(
