Hi,

I'm getting the following error when I try to launch DisplayFusion through steam:

"Your steam license key failed to load correctly. Please exist this installation and try clicking install or launch again from within steam"

I have just installed windows 8 on my PC (from Windows 7) and tried reinstalling DisplayFusion which gives me the above error. I have reinstalled through steam, restarted steam, and rebooted - nothing has done anything to improve the situation. I'm also running steam/DisplayFusion through administrator account.

Is there a fix for this?

We apologize for this issue, it appears that the Steam client is having an issue where it’s not generating the license key for DisplayFusion when launched. We’re currently working with our Steam rep, and will have this issue fixed up as soon as possible.

We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it’s fixed up. In the meantime, you can grab a 30-day trial of DisplayFusion from our site (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download) and use that until the Steam issue is fixed. The Steam version will install right over top of the trial from our site. If you need a new 30-day trial key for DisplayFusion, please let us know and we’ll send one over.

Thanks!

Just wanted to mention it's been fixed. I didn't see the steam update happen so i must have missed it but we're all good now.
