I'm on Win10 21H1 and using the latest DisplayFusion beta.

I noticed that my DisplayFusion taskbar is not showing the time in full. For example, the screenshot below should show "11:07am Monday" or at the very least, "11:07am Mon". But instead, it shows this:

But the weird thing is, yesterday it was showing something like "9:30am Sun" yesterday. So I have a feeling that there's a limited number of characters that it is displaying.

The DisplayFusion taskbar size is correct and is exactly how I like it. I just need the time to display more characters, or perhaps shift it slightly to the left. I've also tried Left-aligned and Automatic-aligned and none of them made any difference.

Hello,

I was able to reproduce something similar on my end, so I've added this to our list to look into. We'll be sure to let you know if we have any news on it in the future.

Thanks!

Hello,

This issue should be fixed up in the latest beta, available here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta. Please let me know if you still run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

I just tested the latest beta and it's still giving me the same issue. At the moment, I think it's OK because the time is displayed at 4:19 pm Tue. However, if it's showing 4 digits, then it'll look like this - "10:19am Tu".

I'll have to check again tonight when it reaches 4 digit and confirm.

OK, I've confirmed it's still an issue. For example, today is Wednesday and the time is 10:02am. It shows "10:02am W" on the taskbar. Have attached log as requested.

Ah yeah, if you have custom clock text set, the text won't wrap so you have to add manual line breaks. You could try something like this: h:mm tt\nddd dd\nMMM

Thanks!

Thanks, that fixed it. Ideally though, I much prefer to have it in one line, as the text looks larger when in a single line. I don't want to adjust the taskbar size either, because it is already the size I want...

Also, I forgot that I had configured it to include the month and the date. I really just need the time and the day to be in one line, e.g.

10:16am Fri

i.e:

Code

h:mm tt dd

and obviously text wrapped. Is that possible?

You can adjust the "Clock Text Size" so it all fits on one line, somewhere around a value of 10 pixels should fit that all on one line.

As mentioned, any custom text will need manual line breaks though.

Thanks!
