Taskbar DOCKING = left, right:

The SPLITS does not correctly calculate TASKBAR DOCKING dimentions. I have 1.1 and 1.2 with Taskbar docked to the LEFT. Split 1.1 is significantly smaller than 1.2 as the Splits are not calculated subtracting the Taskbar from their dimensions. Whether by design or otherwise, needed to have at least some manual method in the Splits and Padding Dialog to adjust for the Taskbar as it then exists.

This is by design. The splits are configured regardless of the taskbar size/position, as they are treated as virtual monitors. Imagine an NVIDIA Surround setup where you have 3 physical monitors, combined into one by NVIDIA Surround, and then you split it into 3 splits so that you can use each physical monitor separately for desktop applications, while still combining them for full screen games.

If the splits were to adjust their sizes based on the taskbar, then they would no longer fit in the bounds of the actual monitors.

You can indeed manually adjust the splits for the taskbars. If your taskbar is on the left and 40px wide, you should be able to increase the left split by 20px and reduce the right split by 20px.
