Good day.

Since updating to win 8.1 (and also to the latest DF beta), the DisplayFusionHelperWin8.exe process is using 25% of my CPU for about 1m20s when the desktop wallpaper is automatically changed by DF.
This 25% is acually 100% of one CPU core.
This does not occur when I force DF to change the wallpaper manually.
I don't know if this is caused by the upgrade to win 8.1 or upgrade to the latest DF beta (pro v 5.1.1 beta 3) because both were executed about the same time. (it may be even caused by the latest upgrade of Classic Shell to v 4.0.2)
find the DisplayFusion.log and DFlog.txt in the zip file

Thanks for letting us know about this issue! That process sets the Windows 8/8.1 lock screen image, so you must have the "Use the current Desktop Wallpaper..." option enabled in the DisplayFusion Settings :)

I've added this to our list and we'll get this fixed up.

Thanks!

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
