Update: Please disregard. This issue is due to Microsoft OneDrive taking over my system and moving my files. <grumble...mumble...gritting teeth> I am growing to despise Microsoft products anymore.

• I updated to the Beta 5 yesterday.
• This morning as I had some CPU/Memory hogging issues, I found my Snag-it screenshot application AND my Windows Snipping Tool were not behaving as expected. I discovered this as I tried to get a Task Manager details screenshot to send you for the DisplayFusion resource issue.
• I rebooted.
• An hour or so later, my desktop wallpaper images went away, showing only solid color.
(The timing is likely when the wallpaper image slideshow would have auto-changed.)
• I verified that all images still reside in the folder path selected in DF. (screenshot attached)
• L1 log exported, with file attached here.

Thanks so much for all you guys do!!
-Tracey

That's really strange! Could you grab some info from the DisplayFusion and explorer processes for me?

  • Open the Windows Task Manager
  • On the Details tab, right-click the column header and choose "Select columns"
  • Enable these columns: Handles, Threads, User Objects, GDI Objects
  • The next time this happens, send me a screenshot of those stats, along with the CPU and memory usage stats for DisplayFusion.exe and also for explorer.exe

My update posted just as your reply appeared. I tried to delete my post but was unable to do that.
