Hi,

When I drag a file onto a minimized/hidden (hidden behind other windows) window on the DF taskbar it does to restore to its original size/position. The standard taskbar displays this behaviour.

To test open two windows explorer windows. Move one to the screen with the DF taskbar and minimize. Now drag a file onto the minimized window's taskbar area and wait and nothing happens. With the scenario the other way round the window restores from the windows taskbar after a small delay.

Thanks

Hi,

Sounds like I am talking to myself :)

Could another DF user please test this scenario for me so that I can see if is just my machine or DF.

Thanks very much.

nope you're right.
Jon will get to your request sooner or later, also had to wait 15 days before he had time to respond to my feature request ( http://www.binaryfortress.com/Forum/index.php?topic=2400.0 ).

Just be patient :)

Sorry for the wait, it's been quite busy here. :) I have hired another support person to help with the increased support load, but he doesn't start for another 2 weeks. I'm doing my best to keep caught up, but it looks like I'm not doing well enough.

You can enable this feature in the DisplayFusion Settings window, on the Taskbar tab. Just enable the "Focus window when mouse is dragged over the Taskbar button" feature and it should do what you're looking for. :)

Wait people get paid to support the forums?...
@chessSpider If I was "official" support youd have had been answered in less than a day :( But I also gave the wrong answer as I don't have any direct line to Jon or his notes.

@Kevin: No, it's not just paid forum support, I need someone to help with the day-to-day operations so I can focus more on the development side of things. I have so many things I want to add to DisplayFusion, but I spend most days just doing support/maintenance/troubleshooting/testing, which means I can't add as many new features as I'd like. Don't worry, I'll still be on the forums. :)

Jon thank you very much. You are doing just fine :) We appreciate the time you put into this product.

Should this option not be set to On by default?

Thanks

Thanks for following-up, in the older versions it was disabled by default, but anyone who installs the new 3.3 versions will have it enabled by default. :)
