Hi there,
I restarted my computer today, and now I have the words: "Drag to another monitor to maximize." located at the bottom of my screen. I cannot figure out how to make that go away. The strange thing is it was not there before, but is now showing up. Any suggestions on how to make those words go away?
Thanks in advance for your help!

That is very strange! Does it last more than 30 seconds? If you reboot again does it come back?

Hi there - was just going to respond that after another reboot it went away. No idea what caused it but it is gone away now. It actually stayed on constantly, as opposed to going away. All good now though - thanks for your reply.
That's great to hear, thanks!

I'm getting the same message and it only resolves with a reboot. It does tend to return and this is getting annoying. Nothing I seem to do makes the message go away without a reboot.
@Steve: When this happens if you just exit DisplayFusion and restart it, does that resolve it as well?

Yes, exiting the program solves the issue. The message doesn't immediately pop back up when the software is restarted.

I got this today after windows 20H2 update. Restarting Display fusion cleared it.
I am on 9.7.1 beta 6

Unfortunately restarting DF does not fix this for me. I first noticed it in an earlier beta version but I still get the "Drag to another monitor to maximize" message with 9.7.1 Beta 8. It doesn't appear to be all applications so there might be more to this issue.
One setting that seems to be related is Window Management >> Show monitor selector while dragging. I do NOT see the Drag to another... message after unchecking this setting however the window still maximizes if I don't hold down the shift key.
I can't seem to reproduce this issue here. Does it seem to happen if you've held a window for a long time while dragging?

This issue began happening for me a couple of weeks ago. I have two Lenovo W520 laptops that I use for different purposes. The message about dragging to another monitor appears on the one running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 (6.1.7601), but it does not happen on the one running Windows 7 Professional.
Other than the OS, they are basically the same, except that the one running Win Pro has more memory, a slightly faster CPU, and more disk storage. One other difference is that the laptop running Win Pro has the NVIDIA Quadro 2000M graphics card, while the one where the message appears has the NVIDIA Quadro 1000M card.
Both closing DisplayFusion and rebooting the system resolve the issue for a while, but eventually the message comes back.
I have DisplayFusion Pro 9.7.1 (production version, not beta).
I'm using two Asus PB287-Q monitors, and normally run with the laptop itself closed.
The Window Management settings are attached below.

Got the same issue and it appeared upon switching monitor profiles. It would disappear once I switched back. Once I restarted DisplayFusion, it disappeared.
Version: DisplayFusion Pro 9.7.1
Hello,
We think we might have this fixed up in the latest beta, available here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta. Please let us know if you still run into any trouble after updating.
Thanks!
