On my 'normal' taskbar, I regularly do the following: I drag a file to an opened application on the taskbar, hold it there for a second or so. Then the chosen app will popup and i can move my mouse to the opened window and release my mouse: Voila, I just dropped a file into an app.

Is there a way to accomplish this with the Displayfusion taskbar? When I try it, my cursor changes in the 'not allowed to drop' icon, and nothing happens....

by the way, I'm always using the latest beta!

This should work with the DisplayFusion taskbar as well. Can you check to make sure the "Focus window when mouse is dragged over Taskbar button" option is enabled on the Taskbar tab in the DisplayFusion Settings?

Thanks!

Wow. That was easy. Wonder why this is a setting (which seems to be disabled by default). Since it's default behaviour on the regular taskbar.

Anyway: it works, so problem solved! thanks!
