Good Day,

Thank you for your great product. I had Ultramon for years and it can only do a fraction of what yours does for twice the price. Well done.

I have two questions:

I have the Pro version. Recently, I have installed the beta version after I had the non-beta pro version installed. I get now two menus in the context menu. See the picture included. Can you help me to remove the non pro context menu? I have Windows 7 ultimate 64 bits. The program works great, just a very little annoyance.

In windows task manager process window, I see two Displayfusion Hook App, one 32 bit and another 64 bit. Is this normal?
I include also the troubleshooting information.

Thank you for your help.

:)

Glad to hear it, thank you for the kind words!

That context menu bug should be fixed up in the next beta, but you can manually remove it now by deleting the following registry key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DesktopBackground\Shell\DisplayFusion

Regarding the hookapp.exe's, there indeed should be two. One is for hooking 32-bit applications, the other is for hooking 64-bit applications :)

Please let me know if you have any other questions at all.

Thanks!

Came here to ask about that, great to see it's already known AND you have a fix :)

I'm running 7.2 Beta 5.
When I right-click on the desktop, I get my desktop context menu with two Display Fusion menus:
* DisplayFusion
* DisplayFusion Pro on Steam

They both contain the same list choices, so I think perhaps having just one of these menus would be sufficient? :D

@Tailen: I've merged your topic into another one for this issue. Please see post #2 above for the workaround :)

Thanks!

I had removed the double entry using the registry edit in this thread.

The changelog for beta 6 says it has a fix for the issue, but instead it restored the duplicate context menu entry for me.

Did I remove the wrong one perhaps? Which of the two context menu entries should be there?

It should just say "DisplayFusion". If you remove both of them, DisplayFusion should recreate the correct one. :)
