I'm getting this error pop up when I use Windows Remote Assistance, was wondering if there is a fix for this.

When do you see this popup, and is it on the remote or local machine?

The following steps should resolve this issue. We're also planning on automatically blacklisting the hooks for msra.exe in the next version.

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Compatibility tab, click Add.
  • Set the "Application" field to: c:\windows\system32\msra.exe
  • Enable the "Disable Application Hooks" checkbox.
  • Click OK, then OK again.

Hope that helps!

So I configred Diosplay Fusion to disable hooks, restarted but it is still happennning.

I have enclosed screenshots of my configuration also, I have SCCM installed on my compouter and when I do remote assistance from there, this error message will still pop up.

Ok, could you try enabling the "Disable Shell Hooks" option in the DisplayFusion Settings > Advanced Settings window?

We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version and this issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!

I tried beta release and my problems with RDP seem to be gone now, no more popup messages.
