Hi,
In v10.0-Beta20, I get a popup on every startup saying that webview2 is not installed but that install is still not working and DF is running just fine.
Is it possible to disable this popup so I don't have to click it every time?
Thanks!

Thank you, this got rid of the popup.
Also checked out Beta21 and despite it still can't install webview2, DF continues to work fine and popup free.
Strange! You manually installed webview2, and after updating to Beta 21 it still tried to install it anyway?

Yes, actually it was the same for Beta20, I had to install it manually because Beta19 didn't work without it, so it was already installed when I updated to Beta20. So, both Beta20 and Beta21 tried to install it even though it was present.
Ok, thanks for confirming! It shouldn't be trying to install webview2 if it's already installed so we'll have a look to see what's going on there.

We've released a new beta with an advanced setting to disable checking for webview. Please let us know if you run into any issues after updating.
Thanks!

Thanks, this version still wanted to install webview during install but it finished successfully after ignoring the error.
I don't get the popup at start about missing webview either, even though I didn't enable the new option to not check for it.
Should I still enable that option?

Yep you can still enable it, and then we'll see if it tries to install it again with the next version.

Beta23 still wanted to install webview2 (and failed as usual) but it finished successfully after clicking Ignore.
I have the "Disable WebView2 Detection and Installation" option turned on.
Could you export these registry keys and send them over?

I don't have an EdgeUpdate under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft , there is Edge and nothing related to update under that either.
Ah okay, that's definitely why it's not detecting the install then. We'll make some further changes with our next beta.
We've released a new beta with updated detection, please let me know if you still receive the prompt after updating.

Nice, this version didn't want to install it. Thank you!
