Just "upgraded" from Office 2019 to 365. Had to delete the old links and pin again the programs I use on each taskbar. It is ok with word but not with Excel. I get only the Displayfusion commands with right click but not the Files list. Very irritating for my workflow.
Any ideas?
Hello,
Does the issue persist if you pin excel to a Window taskbar as well, or does it only happen on the DisplayFusion taskbar?
Thanks!

Windows taskbar is working well at the primary monitor. All the displayfusion taskbars have the problem.

I setup up another screen configuration for my mobile setup. The Excel problem is always there, the other apps load correctly the recent files and the pinned ones when I right click. As I already wrote this happens with the Displayfusion taskbars, not the primary one. Did yoy manage to have a look at it?
Hello,
Strange, I can't seem to reproduce it on my end. Can you send me over a backup of your DisplayFusion settings? You can grab them in the Options tab, using the "Export Settings" button.
Thanks!

Thanks for your assistance. Never had any problem before, DisplayFusion is getting better and better and more and more useful. Please find attached the settings. Also every time I right click on the Excel pinned item, there is also a slight delay till the menu opens. As I said I have the issue with Excel and not Word or Powerpoint

Time I right clicked 18:31 (my local time, Central European). I clicked twice at difference monitors at the Excel pin and once on the Word that works. Please find attached the debug file and a screenshot. The equivalent screenshot from the main taskbar or from word has the recent files opened also

Hello,
It looks like that debug log didn't fully build. Could you try to send it over again?
Also, what version of DisplayFusion are you currently running?
Thanks!

I tried to reinstall Office, nothing improved. If I unpin the Excel from the Displayfusion taskbar and I move a new Excel window to the the monitor and click right then it works fine sometimes, I see the recent files and all the menu items. But after I pin it it stops working and there is always a slight delay in loading the menu. Did you manage to check the debug file? I also reinstalled DisplayFusion the standard versios and then again the beta. No change. Somewhere something is wrong with Excel and displayfusion in my laptop

Hi Owen, did you manage to look at the debug files. Now it is doing intermittently, it is really strange, only with Excel.
Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response, I wasn't able to find anything in those debug logs. This is really strange, as I'm not too sure what would be causing this to happen specifically with Excel.
I'm going to send this over to our developers to have a look at, and see if they can see anything I missed. I'll keep you updated with any further information.
Thanks!

I think I fixed it. Somehow the Excel jump-list was messed up. Strange was that the problem was only on Displayfusion taskbar. If I de-activated jump-lists in the settings then right click on the pinned Excel was instantaneous. So I went here
%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations
and deleted everything in the folder. Then I pinned again Excel on the displayfusion taskbar, opened Excel and pinned the recent files.
Everything works now. Thank you for looking a bit at it, hope my answer helps if anybody faces the issue again.

I was just struggling with Access 365 and a pinned item in Windows 10. I did two things at the same time (shame on me) as I was fighting with getting the pinned item to open Access and the database on the command line. I deleted all the AutomaticDestinations files and then when I forgot to add the database to the command line, instead of trying to Edit the existing pinned item, I pinned after the database was open, creating a new item.. and then adding the path and database name in the command line and it is working again. I am not confident this will stick, so I will return to this thread with more info if it returns. Thank you!
