I want to extend the Windows task bar instead of adding a 2nd task bar which I can now.

I have two 24" monitors side-by-side, both are in portraid mode. I want the start menu on the 1st monitor, positioned left most and the date/time and notifications on the 2nd monitor, positioned right most. No date/time and notifications on the right of the 1st monitor.

Is that possible?

Yes, that is possible, but it requires Display Fusion to handle both task bars, while windows displays none.

Set your GUI-language to English to follow these steps:

1. Display DF-Taskbar on both monitors
- Open DisplayFusion-Settings and click on Advanced Settings button on the bottom of the settings-window
- Filter by "show on all monitors" and click the setting
- Set to "Taskbars shown on all monitors" and apply

2. Customize DisplayFusion Taskbar
- Right click on each taskbar and set settings for your needs, e.g. hide Clock, show Start-Menu Button, etc..

Cheers,
John

@JohnFiddle: Thanks for posting that solution!

@Riza: You'll also want to hide the Windows taskbar if you do that. I have some steps on that in post #6 here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/anyway-to-make-the-df-pro-taskbar-override-the-windows-taskbar/?ID=3d0cad5b-2ab0-4b2d-acbc-cd2b45389c38#6
