I just purchased the steam version of displayfusion and when I try to launch the app I get an error stating "Failed to contact key server". Is this an error on the steam side (so I should contact Steam support)? I've tried on 2 different PCs at different physical locations, so I don't think it's a network issue on my side. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This was definitely an issue on ours/Steam's end, but it should be all fixed up now. Could you give it a try again?
