It would be nice if snapping would also work when resizing windows. It would make it very easy to adjust different windows to same size by snapping to inside edges when dragging from the edge of a window.
I'd like to see the "Desktop Icons" menu from tray icon context menu in desktop context menu as well.
Iconid (http://www.sillysot.com/) would be a great example for additional desktop icon controls. They have stopped developing it years ago but it still works fine even in Windows 8. It would be nice to see its features improved further.
