I'm not sure why DF supports rotating on a schedule the wallpaper background but not the windows logon background.
It seems you are only able to select a single image.
It would be nice if DF supported changing the windows logon background either on a schedule or every reboot based on a folder full of backgrounds, similar to how the wallpaper rotation works.
We haven't added this option in the past because on Windows Vista and higher, changing the Logon background requires a UAC prompt, so you'd receive a UAC prompt every time it tried to change it.
However, we're hoping to add a Windows Service in a future version that can change it without prompting. We'll be sure to post an update if/when we're able to do that.
Thanks!

Umm, I'm not sure who actually uses UAC but I turn that garbage off.
UAC is on by default, and is an important security feature in Windows. Therefore, we need to make sure our product is compatible with UAC and doesn't end up inducing prompts that would be irritating to the majority of people who leave the UAC settings at the default level.
However, as I mentioned, we're investigating a workaround that should hopefully allow us to set the Windows Logon Background without a UAC prompt, and if we're able to make that work, I'll be sure to post an update in this topic.
Thanks!

Sorry for raising the dead with this topic, but would personally like to see the possibility of rotating logins on this considering it no longer requires UAC
That is still on our list, but we don't have an ETA on when we might be able to implement it. I'll definitely update this thread if/when we do!
