Would it be possible to add an option that disables hidden task bars from popping up when you mouse over that area of the screen? So the task bar will only show up if you press the windows key. There is an autohotkey script that does this, so I assume it would be possible to implement?

Thanks.

There is a utility called Tasbar Control that will do what you want for the main taskbar, whether or not that would work for all taskbars, I dont know.
You can read about it here: https://www.thefreewindows.com/3252/hide-completely-the-windows-taskbar-using-a-hotkey-and-unhide-it-with-taskbar-control/

I tried it and it doesn't seem to disable the mouse from also bringing up the task bar, that's mainly what I need as you can already use windows key to bring the task bar up. I like to hide the task bar on my laptop so I have more screen space but it's really annoying when you're trying to click something at the edge and the mouse makes the taskbar pop up.

I've added this to our feature request list. If we're able to implement it in a future version we'll definitely let you know.

Thanks!
