Trying not to rip too much out of ActualTools, but they really do have the Window Location/Settings options nailed perfectly.
Window Location:
- Add ability to set a particular application/window to open based onwindow title, application ID, etc. Good example would be VMWare. The login window is one set of criteria marked by the window title opened on 1 monitor, the vSphere client is marked by another window title opened on another monitor, and then when I open a console (specified by specific wording in the window title), it opens on a another specific monitor. Many applications I use have multiple windows that are apart of the opening process. Cisco Messenger is another. Login window is one window, the login box is another, and yet again, the IM windows themselves are another window. They are all under the same program name, but are individual in their own rights.
- Ability to confine an application (also per title, application ID, etc.) to a specific location. Example, I have Cisco IM main window open on right side of center monitor and is confined to ONLY that area (can not change size), while the IM's are not managed at all.
- Ability to set opening size/location based on title, application ID, etc. Per above, Cisco IM is set to only be allowed to move around in an area on right side of center monitor, and this option forces that main window to be maximized within that confined area with a set opening size (in Width x Height), and setting a minimum size so it can never be smaller then that.
Taskbar:
- Make the taskbar icons work more like the Windows 7 SuperBar so that the icon becomes the opened program for easier organization. I don't mind the old way, but the new way works much better for me. Personal preference, but would like the choice.

One other thing I thought of about Window settings. I open a specific Excel document on a specific monitor. All other excel documents open on a different monitor. By allowing placement by window title, I can capture an Excel window with a specific spreadsheet open to a specific monitor because the name of the file is in the Window title. WALLAH!
Thoughts?
These are definitely good suggestions, but would require some significant changes to our Window Location feature. We actually do have some of these on our feature request list, so I'll add your votes, and also add the new requests to the list.
As for the taskbar request, we're hoping to have the pinned items combine like they do on the Windows taskbar for the version after 4.0.1.
Thanks!
