Not sure if this is practical, but the Flickr option isn't useful because of two limitations:

- It only grabs the first 100 photos

- It grabs the 500x357 pixel image from the photo detail page, which makes for awful desktop wallpaper. I'd like to have the choice to use one of the many higher resolution versions of each photo.

v2.0 of DisplayFusion will have a "get next 100 images" button. No worries there. :) As for the image resolution, DisplayFusion tries to grab the largest image that it can. If it isn't can you let me know what you searched for, or send me a link to the Flickr image so I can check it out? It should always download the highest resolution image available on Flickr. Also, I've noticed that some images on Flickr are a lower resolution to start with which can be disappointing sometimes.

Any chance you could include an option to grab random flickr images and change the backgrounds every user specified timeframe?
Failing that, could you give me an idea how you implement the different wallpapers per screen so I can try to write something similar with changing backgrounds? Not looking for all your source code, just a heads up on how its done, I can't find many decent examples on the net.

Cheers

Sorry for the delayed response, for some reason I had marked this topic as "complete". The new DisplayFusion (v2.1) has the random Flickr image changing. You can find it here:

lol - no worries, it was just me. :) My youngest daughter was sick yesterday so I had a lot of time go through the older posts, as I was just hanging out while she napped between being sick.
