Currently, a user can export/import all DisplayFusion settings via Options > Export Settings / Restore Settings.
Restoring settings will write the entirety of all saved settings to the current DisplayFusion installation.
Sometimes a user only wants to restore a specific monitor profile, or window position profile, or wallpaper profile, etc. The user may want to retain all other settings unique to the existing DisplayFusion instance, and only import one such unique granular profile.
A current manual process appears to be doing this via registry. For example, monitor profiles appear to be here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion\MonitorConfig
...so a user could manually export the profiles as .reg files.
Many users aren't as comfortable with working with the registry. Intuitively, users would expect that any profile should have an option, within the DisplayFusion UI, to either right-click the profile or to click a dedicated button which allows for import/export of that unique profile.
